EarthOrigins advocacy kicks off this First Quarter of 2016 by doing rounds of short seminars by introducing the company healthy product portfolio and services. We are glad to be invited by ADB Spouses during their Annual Meeting Assembly at ADB Mandaluyong City last Feb 9, 2016. The attendance was very overwhelming, and the audience composition of the different culture from around the world became an exciting challenge as we discussed healthy food choices, detoxification process, and organic products in the Philippines market.
Sugarleaf Inc. is the pioneer company behind the EarthOrigins Marketplace. It has been serving organic produce and healthy selections of goods since 2011. With its new mission to make people healthy and happy, the campaign will focus on awareness and alignment of our eating habits on our daily lives. EarthOrigins company partnership program will be beneficial for every company management to focus on their employees health and wellness program, balanced lifestyle, and overall health condition of their workforce. EarthOrigins will discuss typical detoxification process and why we need it at least on a yearly basis, what is the quality of food we are eating and why we need to choose organic.
The campaign will also list various chemicals and known toxins that have harmful effects on our body that leads to common lifestyle diseases. Also, these will be beneficial for the Human Capital & Financial departments doing assessments of increasing Health and Medical insurance cost per annum most with the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector. There will be topics on different diet protocols and how to fit it into the daily routines of the employees. Most, how to take care of the top management, the decision makers whose health matters and their sickness will inevitably affect the company’s direction and profitability.
The typical questions raised during the session are where to buy organic goods? And how to check its quality? As the most of the participants are from different country, there are certain vegetables, meats, and particular taste that they are looking for which is hard to find in the Philippines. A typical example is Kefir Milk, which is very common in the Western regions and readily available in their supermarkets and groceries. And we are glad that we have Goody Kefir, which customers can always buy at EarthOrigins.
As part of the program, EarthOrigins will offer very affordable organic goods and services to a partner company. There will be detox meals subscription and programs that can be possibly employer-sponsored and part of the employee benefits program. The tie-up will include other offerings like a discount for Matstone Juicer, Breville Kitchen Appliances, Vitamix Pro Blender, and other healthy pantry supplies. There will be series of workshops too on detox juicing, gluten free food preparation, diet food – calorie, pastries and baking, food for cancer patients and a lot more.
EarthOrigins by Sugarleaf Inc. is very thankful for Asian Development Bank Food Services group for their support in promoting organic and sustainable farming in the Philippines. They have been very supportive to Sugarleaf Inc. since 2014 through its Food Fair, No Impact Week, and Environment Week.
The program will also feature different tutorial about juicing and proper mixing of fruits and vegetable using Matstone All In One Multipurpose Juicer. Also, we will have a free tasting of our healthy blends of cold pressed juices!
EarthOrigins is also very thankful to Stradcom LTO Quezon City. We were able to facilitate their lunch meeting with healthy organic meals plus an overview of our partnership program offering. Their Human Resources is currently mapping its 2016 plan for their health and wellness program, and we were able to share our inputs on possible partnership program to make their workforce a healthy and happy employees.
As the office environment is considered “toxic,” we understand that it requires a lot of stress management and balance eating to avoid sickness, or worse case scenario -death. Through here, we share the different aspects of eating organic, and what food to eat during stressful days. We also discusses various aspects of food addiction, and how it affects our health.
There will be several source speakers that we will engage depending on the needs of the company. From master yoga teacher, culinary chef, food technologist, nutritionist/ dietician, naturopath, homeopath practitioner, organic farmer, physical fitness trainer, pranic healers and integrative medical doctor. Our holistic professionals and industry experts will be an avenue for a better, healthier life.
Our approach is comprehensive, from food to a wellness habit.
We will also engage employees to a challenge- either it is a weight goal or a sickness healing goal. From here, we will ensure that we deliver and fulfill our duties as a health and wellness partner.
